In the village
At the weekend I had the chance to go to a little village about 2 hours from Lahore. This was absolutely a very good experience. We did go there early in the morning… I ahd to get up at about 3.30 a.m.! Life there just starts when the sun is rising and the day ends when the sun is going down. We arrived there at about 6 o’clock and first visited a family. They gave us to eat and drink… At that very moment I missed a good coffee, I was quite tired after getting at that time!
Leaving that family we went to a village. That was very amazing and friendly. As soon as we entered, people came to show us around. Directly we’ve been invited for a lunch at ones place… very hospitable and kind. People there live very simple and easy in mud huts together with their animals. This is just unbelievable until one doesn’t see it with his own eyes. During our visit little children were following us, they seemed to be very exited about me being that white. I found it very peaceful and cosy at that place. No rush, no hectic. So I hope I can go there once again for some more time!
